We collect the warehouse footprint, intended racking layout, and any existing geotechnical report. If the site is new, we flag the soil investigation as a prerequisite before any load calculations begin.
Step 02
We trace how vertical loads from racking, mezzanines, and roof systems transfer through columns and into the foundation. This stage produces a preliminary load distribution diagram for your review.
Step 03
Using the agreed load paths, we build a 3D frame model in structural analysis software. Member sizes, connection types, and bracing positions are tested against wind, seismic, and equipment vibration demands.
Step 04
We size footings, pile caps, and floor slabs to handle concentrated racking point loads without excessive settlement. Reinforcement schedules and concrete grades are specified for the contractor's tender package.
Step 05
Before issuing the final set, a second engineer checks the model for code compliance and constructability. You receive a marked-up drawing set with comments resolved or explicitly deferred.
Step 06
The stamped structural drawings, load summary, and calculation notes are delivered in PDF and DWG formats. We remain available for site queries during the tender and construction phases.
